Whether you wish to pursue hockey or figure skating or just be able to enjoy the occasional arena visit with family and friends, Learn to Skate classes are the first step to success!

About Learn To Skate
For Beginners ages 3-5: Snowplow 1
Beginners ages 5-13: Basic 1
Beginners ages 5-10 interested in Hockey: Pre Hockey 1
Beginners ages 14 & up: Adult 1

An annual membership to Learn to Skate is required for every skater including parents in Parent and Child classes:
*Every skater in our program MUST have a current/valid Learn to Skate USA number. This is a requirement from US Figure Skating to continue to run their program at our rink. Numbers need to be renewed each July ($17.25). Numbers will be checked prior to classes starting. A USA Hockey number may NOT be used in place of a LTS USA number.

‍Each level teaches skills that encourage basic coordination, balance, and movement in a fun and entertaining atmosphere. It is important that the level progression is followed and that skaters demonstrate skills efficiently to staff before advancing. Instructors will evaluate students and give progress reports to skaters at the end of each season.

We will be allowing 15 skaters per level for this session of Learn to Skate. Once each level is full, we will not allow any more into the class.
